Breaking: Another Nigeria Airforce Jet Crashed

 

A Nigeria Airforce Jet Heading To Orlu Has been reported to have  crashed in Akure, Ondo State. 

Report gardered confirmed that the Airforce Jet crashed on its way to conduct an air raid in Orlu of Imo.

BREAKING: Lagos police command dismiss reports a police station was burnt by hoodlums

 

The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed reports claiming a police station in the state was set ablaze by hoodlums on Monday May 24.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed that some hoodlums attempted to set ablaze the Oke Odo Division of the command but were repelled, however twelve (12) of them were arrested. Adejobi while dismissing reports of the attack, stated that no life was lost during the failed attempt to attack the police station.

 

Adejobi added that the command has restored normalcy to Elemoro where another set of hoodlums attempted to set ablaze the newly built police station which accommodates the Area J Command, Ajah, and Elemoro Division of the command in connection with a case of fatal accident recorded in the area  on Monday.

 

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, has deployed adequate personnel to the areas. He has also ordered that the incidences at Oke Odo, Ile Epo and Elemoro be thoroughly investigated. The details of the incidences will be revealed as soon as possible.

The Commissioner of Police therefore appealed to the general public to remain calm and go about their lawful businesses as all hands are on deck to suppress any act of lawlessness and criminality in the state.  

Breaking: Joe Igbokwe Escapes death as Angry youths attack Him In Lagos

The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Environmental Cleansing and Protection, Hon Joe Igbokwe was at the early hours of Monday attacked by some group of youths identified as Igbo Youths who lives in Lagos. 

According to eye witnesses, Honourable Igbokwe narrowly escaped the attack with his driver on his way to work, along Surulere axis of the State, when some group of men trooped out in their numbers and descended on his vehicle, trying so hard to bring him and the driver out of the car, but luck was on his side when the driver managed to zoom off without minding the traffic signals.

However, it was also gathered that the group of young men who were speaking Igbo went after Honourable Igbokwe but couldn't get him as the driver geared up the vehicle speed.

Meanwhile, the Police arrived at the scene to calm the situation down but the youths were unable to listen to them as they were busy chanting chorus of war in Igbo dialect "We will catch Joe Igbokwe, either here in Lagos or in Igboland. We have declared him wanted. Enough is enough. We have had enough of his nonsense." They chorused. 

However, it could be recalled that Honourable Joe Igbokwe has been against the Biafra Movement right from the time of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu till date and has been championing lots of media war against the movement.

Happening Now: popular Oshodi market, now on fire

Confirmed report coming in to our news desk has it that the popular Cairo market in Oshodi, Lagos state is reportedly gutted by fire.

GBAM TV gardard that the fire started late night Thursday and the whole of the market was razed and properties worth millions were destroyed by the fire.
