Breaking: US Secretary of state to Visit Kenya, Nigeria over rise in insecurity

The U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to visit Nigeria and Kenya on his first virtual visit to Africa today. During his trip Secretary Blinken will visit Kenya and Nigeria and engage with young people from across the continent.

 In addition, he will meet with President Buhari of Nigeria and President Kenyatta of Kenya to reiterate the value of both countries  bilateral relationship and discuss issues of shared importance and to reaffirm strategic partnership, discuss future cooperation to promote democracy and expand trade, and explore avenues to address global challenges, including climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic.
