While the funeral of General Ibrahim Attahiru, Commander-in-Chief, and ten others killed in a plane crash in Abuja, many officials gathered in Kano for the wedding of one of Abubakar Malami's sons, the Federation's Attorney General and the Minister of Justice.
This has created a different reaction for Nigerians who felt that the top military officers who had died on the job did not receive the kind of respect they deserved.
