Hoodlums suspected to be bandits have attacked a Mosque in Kwata, Jibia Local Government Area of Kastina State.

They abduct more than 40 worshipers during the assault.

DAILY POST accumulated that the episode happened at about 12am on Monday early daytime during the Laylatul Qadr supplication.

The Laylatul Qadr petition which is the Night of Decree or Night of Power, is quite possibly the most hallowed evenings in the Islamic schedule.

When reached for affirmation, the state's Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Gambo Ishaka revealed to DAILY POST reporter that 30 of the abductees have been safeguarded by the joint security agents.

As per the PPRO: "The report is valid. Hooligans assaulted a Mosque in Kwata and stole more than 40 people yet we had the option to save 30 of them.

"However, these leftover ten, I can not strikingly say they are captured or most likely ran some place inside the area for wellbeing during the assault.

"It was after we led headcount earlier today that we found that around ten residents are as yet absent.

"Be that as it may, ideally, we going to discover them. The activity is as yet progressing.

"As I'm addressing you, military and police are after these punks, we have discovered that they are going towards Ambe and Tumburun in Zamfara State which is the refuge of the criminal components.

"Examination is on top stuff to guarantee the leftover ten are saved and the lawbreakers are brought to book.

"No life was lost during the assault".
