Unidentified gunmen attacked the Rumuji police station in the Emohua area of the Rivers State local government.
The daily newspaper found that they had beheaded one policeman during the attack.
Gunmen also attacked and killed one police officer at a checkpoint in Ogbakiri junction in the same local government.
The attackers also demolished a site under construction for the newly rebuilt C4i police station located at the Emohua compound west of Port Harcourt.
The attack took place around 10pm on Friday, when a curfew announced by the Rivers district government went into effect.
A source, who confirmed the incident, said the gunmen first fired from Aluu in the Ikwerre area of the State government before pursuing their goals.
The Rivers State police order was yet to comment on the matter at the time of submitting the report.
Rivers State these days has seen a series of security attacks on the State, which has led to the announcement of the curfew from 10pm to 6am daily.
