Yesterday, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel was joined by other Governors to receive the 2 brand new Airbus 220-300 series airplanes added to the fleet of IbomAir.
The tape cutting was done by the Governor of Sokoto State, HE Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal flanked by Governors of Adamawa, Enugu, Rivers and Deputy Governor of Zamfara State.
These deliveries mark two years of services for Ibom Air. The Akwa Ibom state government commenced operations with the carrier on June 7th, 2019,
Ibom air now has seven number of aircrafts in the fleet of Ibom Air. Ibom Air is the first state airline to be founded in Nigeria.
